DACOR Bacon House is the location of choice for members and organizations who are searching for the perfect combination of elegance, convenience of location, and a fantastic menu. The various rooms in the House provide great flexibility for private luncheons. Whether it is a tête-à-tête with a friend or colleague or a luncheon and lecture for 80 people, the House offers elegant and versatile options for your event.
Price
$20 Per-person cost of two-course lunch for a group of 20 or fewer
$25 Per-person cost of two-course lunch for a group of 20 or fewer
$3 Per-person cost of a first-course salad or soup
Please note that the figures above include service, tax and a $3 per-person House fee. Lunch is considered to last 90 minutes before additional rental charges begin.
Rooms and Capacity
Garden (Green) Room
The Garden Room, familiarly known as the Green Room, is a private parlor with wonderful natural light and a view of the garden. This is the ideal space for luncheons or meetings ranging from 2 to 8 people.
Dining Room
The formal Dining Room in the House features a candle-burning chandelier and a marbled cornice. Formal luncheons and dinners and working events are all possible in the Dining Room for groups of 8 to 32.
North and South Drawing Rooms
The two Drawing Rooms have hosted presidents and first ladies, the Supreme Court, dignitaries and artists from all fields. Each room has a chandelier and a fireplace, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Up to 55 people can enjoy a lecture in this space. For luncheons, the two rooms can seat up to 40 people.
Gallery
Originally a porch added by Chief Justice and Mrs. Fuller, the Gallery is the usual gathering place for Members’ Lunches. Sunlight fills this space, which can seat up to 32.
Mews Conference Room
Decorated with Foreign Service memorabilia including photographs, engravings, watercolors, and silver, the Mews Conference Room is the most private space available for luncheons or meetings of up to 8 people.
